All the viewers and the children screamed loudly and started hooting. They were amazed to learn his moves. Team mates held Giri in the air with happiness. The place was full of life and noise where all were statues before some minutes. No matter who lost and won the game but all were appreciating a good presented by Giri.
Both the teams were waiting for the formal announcement of winning by their coach Mr Karan. He was a sturdy man having good personality. He was not in habit of appraising his students rather pointed mistakes always to improve their game next time. He was visible attending a call before few minutes there at field, was no where then.
It was six o’clock in the evening. All were expected to return back at home. Children were waiting for the announcement eagerly. But something strange happened. Instead of giving gestures for game Mr Karan came towards Giri with calm eyes. His eyes were teary and deep. His silence and emotions were blessing Giri. His touch on Giri’s head was so devine and rare that made Giri anxious. He whispered to Giri, “We all are with you always.” Giri was stunned with his behaviour. Mr Karan asked everyone to leave the place at the same time. No one could judge his behaviour that day.
Giri’s home was very near to the playground then too first time Mr Karan accompanied him and dropped. There were many neighbours and relatives at Giri’s home. Everything was so mixed up in his mind that he couldn’t utter a single letter. Giri’s heart sank when he noticed people consoling his mother. Situation was clear to him as mud. His mother hugged him like never before. Her trembling lips could share few words that his champion of life was no more.

Major Sooraj Singh, father of Giri was no more in the world. Giri felt his responsibility quickly and became backbone to his mother. His mother had a nursery of plants. She grew varied kinds of species for sale. Giri was supporting to their economic condition through a part time job. Many were there to support but both mother and son were satisfied with their earnings. After death of his father, Giri became focused and aimed at Vigilance Department of Defence. He was studying hard to meet his aim.

Giri was experienced with bank formalities so he went alone. The bank was full of people. There were many queues at every window. Giri filled a form and released amount for his fees. Both mother and son were sweating blood to collect that amount.
Suddenly, somebody fired in the air. There was hustle and bustle everywhere. All were shouting and trying to save their lives. There were two masked men who were threatening to the bankers. One was standing at the main gate with a gun. The other one was with the manager and was asking for the keys of lockers. His gun’s funnel was towards the manager.
Courage came up with an idea and controlled Giri’s mind. He threw a bunch of keys from his pocket towards the man standing near bank manager and shouted, “Catch it sir!” The masked man lost his position of pointing the gun towards manager. He got puzzled that what should be done. Within frictions of seconds Giri took out notes from his pocket and threw in the air. Every person along with the masked men who came for robbery of bank were completely confused that what was going on. All were looking at the flying notes when Giri targeted the other masked man standing at the gate and gave a hard hit in one stroke at his one knee. The man cried loudly with pain and lost his grip over his gun which was then in the hands of Giri.
Manager also understood the idea of the young boy, Giri and clutched the second man tightly. People came out from hidden places. They also started helping bank officials in tying the robbers and in calling police.

Everyone screamed with surprise. People collected money of Giri and returned to him. All were cheering with happiness. They held Giri high in the air to appreciate his unusual bravery and support. Giri recalled the evening he was carried up high in the same way after a kabaddi match for winning. He felt his father’s blessings and mumbled, “Isn’t it a right play champion?”
