Once there was a Jonky Donkey. He lived with other animals in a forest. His passions of life were studying and running. He wanted to participate and win Forest’s Annual race someday. His second wish was to become a prestigious officer.
Other animals used to mock at him. They teased him for bearing high aims like tiger, elephant and bear had. They reminded him many times that he should practice carrying load as he was a donkey not a horse. They suggested him that he shouldn’t long to win the race.
But, Jonky wasn’t affected by their comments. After studying and exercising he kept himself busy in making a huge sheet of dry leaves. He used to collect dry leaves from ground and stick them to create a big spread sheet. Many animals made fun of that sheet too as it was very delicate and useless according to them.
One evening, all children were playing catch and throw game with a rubber ball. Jonky was also sitting near that ground. He was adding leaves to the creative sheet.
Suddenly, the ball hit a beehive. All bees got angry. They flew towards children to sting and take revenge.
Jonky saw everything happening there. He got an idea.
He spread the sheet made of leaves in the air and called every child to come under it. All were so afraid that they followed it quickly. They found the sheet very light and airy. They were very much comfortable inside.
Bees took a big round of play ground but were failed in getting even an inch of skin. After getting tired they all went back.
Children came out one by one. Everyone standing there started clapping for the artistic sheet and caring nature of Jonky.
All the animals apologized for their behaviour. They agreed that everything is possible with determination.
It was a Sunday, when Jonky was standing in a line of Forest’s Annual race and every voice was cheering for him.
