Weather was changing. Winter was losing its grip. Flowers were blooming everywhere.
Bees, bugs, birds and butterflies all were happy. People were also more energetic as days were longer.

Only Gopi had an easy and lethargic attitude. He wanted to do many works but he wasn’t managed and systematic.
Gopi’s exams were near. Every member of his family suggested him a different idea to study hard and get good marks. His mother told to get up at 4 o’clock in ‘Brahma muhurta’. Father asked to go for tuition. Grandfather requested to sit with him when he read newspaper every morning. But his Grandmother had weird tips.
Grandmother offered Gopi two works. Either to clean her long cupboard or to go at a farm house by bicycle. She wanted some mangoes to make jam.

Gopi happily selected second option.
Grandmother asked Gopi to learn a shlok and recite before the gardener. It was a condition before entering the farm house. Gopi agreed. He repeated a shlok many times while cycling and learnt it within minutes.
Grandmother called the gardener. She requested to put some conditions before Gopi.

Gardener smiled at Gopi when he recited shlok loudly before stopping at the entrance. He gave Gopi only 15 minutes to pluck mangoes from the tree which was planted at the 30 degree angle of the main gate of farm house.

Gopi became excited. He stood at the main gate and searched that tree in minutes. He tied a stone with the rope and started plucking mangoes.
Within minutes he collected many mangoes and returned happily.
Gardener called Grandmother and praised Gopi for his activeness.
Everybody was waiting for Gopi at home. All clapped for him. Grandmother knew it that he had talent but he was avoiding good things.
She appreciated him for many qualities like his intelligence in learning shlok. He was even good at Math and Geography that he found the correct tree at 30 degree angle at once. He used his common sense in plucking many fruits within few minutes.
Grandmother suggested him to do studies also with interest. She asked Gopi to keep learning and playing at priority.

Gopi saluted his Grandmaa and touched her feet.
Very same day he made his schedule for studying, playing, cycling and gardening.
Gopi felt new and fresh that day.
My mother says the same what gopi’s mother said
Ma’am very nice story and we got a good moral from this
