Hiren was the most famous character of The Eastern School. He was an athlete and a singer too. There was no Inter School Competition held in Kolkata where his name was not announced for achievement. He was an active sturdy chap of class XII who was the best runner of his city.

He was fond of participating in dramas but the passion of his heart was singing. He and his friends secured many prizes in group songs. They used to participate in the city and the state level competitions as well as functions.

Lives at The Eastern School were going on smoothly till the entry of a new admission.

Sana was her name. She was a muted personality. Her father got transferred from Indore to Kolkata and she got admission in The Eastern School. Everything became changed for Hiren. He was a hero of everyone where she started impressing all with her qualities.

She was a soft natured girl. She was ready to help her colleagues all the time. The best part of her was her dancing. Whole school became fan of her dance moves and polite nature.

At a corner of his heart Hiren was fond of her styles. He respected her attitude. But soon he started having jealousy as he was the only famous one of his school before few months.

Once, there was a grand function announced at school. It was a State Level Dance Competition wherein the winner would get chance to compete at National Level with Scholarship of twenty percent in further studies.

Hiren thought to plan a prank just to remain the role model of their school. He wanted to pull down her image.

Just before Sana’s performance Hiren hid her pen drive in which she saved her dancing song. He replaced it with another pen drive that looked the same as hers.

In changed pen drive, he saved their School Anthem Song on which no body could imagine to dance.

It was a Solo Dance Competition. Sana was looking as a Goddess in white costume. She wished the stage and whole school was eagerly waiting for her moves.

When the School Anthem was played with new pen drive she paused and made some still poses.

Hiren smiled at his success. He thought that she would be failed in coping with the Anthem.

She started dancing with her ethnic steps like a fairy. All were stunned by her steps. Nobody expected that kind of song for a dance performance. Hiren expected that audience would make fun of her.

But she gave her best turns. Her simplicity won every heart. All applauded loudly with cheering for her. They were shouting, “Once more! Once more!” Even Hiren was confused that he was his side or Sana’s side.

Result declared. Sana was Winner of The State Level Competition undoubtedly.

She came to Hiren at the end of the programme and thanked. She smiled and told him that she was aware of the prank he played. But she accepted it as a challenge and dropped the idea of winning. It made her fearless. She could show her free style and expressions without any pressure. It resulted in even better and unique performance than before.

Hiren felt very bad about his mean behaviour. He became her best friend and a new fan too.
