Mr & Mrs Sharma shifted in a new flat. They had a daughter. Her name was Kriti.
They were very excited to decorate their flat, specially the living room. They bought imported stones to design first wall. For second wall, they created wall hangings using their medals and achievements. Certificates were also included to complete that wall. On third wall, they put collage of their photographs and memories. But the fourth wall, they left plain.
At last, the flat was looking very appealing.
They used to invite friends. In their parties, the main attraction was decoration of three walls in the living room. It made those walls very proud. They started insulting fourth wall for it was plain and simple.
The fourth wall had soft nature. It was avoided by guests as it didn’t have anything unique on it.
One morning, when all walls awoke they saw new and colourful designs on the fourth wall. It was looking so different and beautiful.
Later they got to know that those were created by Kriti. Other three walls were already occupied. So, she chose the plain wall to draw. Mr & Mrs Sharma were also excited to see it. They clicked many pictures and selfies of the wall.
Other three walls were silent but weren’t happy on the fourth wall’s fame.
The little girl kept on creating drawings on it. It had become the new attraction of all the guests too. For many years the fourth wall remained special for all.
After some years, a disaster happened. Someone hit from the other flat and a big crack came to the fourth wall. It’s heart sank. Mr & Mrs Sharma also felt that the show of their living area was spoiled. The childhood memories of Kriti were broken. But, she wanted to correct it somehow.
Kriti saw it for hours. She got an idea.
She invited her friends on a Sunday. They used colours to paint the crack as lightning.
They created a rainfall view with lightning on the fourth wall. The look was prettier than before.
Fourth wall thanked God by heart. It shed tears of happiness which were mixed in the rain drops of painting.
