Series # 3. King Omnie ‘Kynder’

The discussion of King Kynder (K.K.) was very common those days. People of other states were fond of his decision making. He was famous for his kind behaviour also.
Many people visited his state to see his style of working in real.

Once, five Gurus of different states, met at a place. They discussed about the equal education system of K.K’s kingdom. They were against his Gurukul system where boys and girls were getting education together. They decided to visit his place.
They wanted K.K to close that system and to build two different gurukuls as they had in their states.
King Kynder got the news of their coming. He was enjoying an activity in the gurukul when they all entered. Disciples were digging a piece of land to create it fertile. Boys and girls all were working together.
The moment Disciples saw the guests two girls ran and brought logs of wood for them to sit. A boy offered them water to drink. All the Guests were shocked to see.
One guest said, “It’s a disaster! How can you people teach this to children?”
K.K. replied, “But digging is a good hard work. Our children must toil in the fields.”
Second guest shouted, “That’s fine, but this is a job of boys. Women are made for household work and caring.”
Third guest added, “Moreover, your girls are lifting logs. Are these boys meant for serving? Useless! Your education is defective. You should have the same dignified policy as we all have in our states.”
Gurus of the gurukul and all the disciples were stunned to listen those biased words.
King Kynder understood their reason of jealousy. He said to the guests, “Honourable! When God is present everywhere how can we be partial in giving opportunity to our next generation?”
The fourth guest screamed, “When systems are set in the society for all, your state also must follow same. You’re teaching them equally but I bet that these girls would fail if I’ll take a simple test of intelligence. I’m telling you that they are made to obey not to raise their voice.”
K.K smiled and asked the fourth guest to call any girl randomly to interrogate.
The youngest girl was called to test. The guests believed that she would neither understand their question nor could answer.
Till then a huge crowd was collected in the gurukul. Citizens had a blind faith towards K.K and his unique policies.
All five gurus came as guests sat in a semicircle and created a dominating environment. One guest declared that if the girl would give satisfied answers to three questions then they would also follow the education policies of K.K.
The girl joined hands and stood confidently at the centre.
First guest asked, “Who is the most respectable in this world?”
The girl answered, “My guru says that a guest is the most respectable among all.”
Second guest asked, “Which is your most memorable moment till today?”
She smiled and replied, “Present time is the most beautiful moment of my life. We can’t change the past. Our future is also dependent at our present.”
People started clapping at her answers.
The guests became hesitant but still asked the third and last question.
The third guest said, “Which is the worst habit of human beings?”
The girl replied calmly, “When a person criticizes and is unable to note positive side of any situation then he is a needy one who requires pity and treatment.”
The guests were in utter amazement. They fell down at her feet one by one. They got tears in their eyes.
The gathering was chanting name of K.K as because of his thinking only children were very mature and intellectual. They were learning everything equally.
The guests apologized by heart.
A guest said, “The little girl has not only showed confidence and wit but has taught them a lesson for the life.”
That way, K.K added few more admirers in his list.
