One day, two besties went to an astrologer on a new year’s evening. Chanchal was more excited than Sanyam to know about his future.
The astrologer charged only 500/- each to predict and decide about their future. He announced to Chanchal that he would become a very successful businessman. For Sanyam he warned that it would be a challenging life.
The impact of the astrologer was so strong on Chanchal that he left his studies at an early age and started a business in partnership opposite to his parents who had a peaceful life with jobs.
On the other side Sanyam, as per his habit, forgot all the sayings of the astrologer the very next morning. He kept doing his studies sincerely and became a famous counselor.
After 20 years of struggle, one day, Chanchal took an appointment with Sanyam to make his life and routine peaceful. There he asked Sanyam how had he become a successful man when it was said for him by the astrologer.
Sanyam replied with a contented smile, “Retain the coolness of a river but don’t try to block its flow. Similarly, we should notice only useful and constructive suggestions of others, else the only saviour of life is education.”
Chanchal understood his mistake that he left his studies at an early age to become a businessman because of what he was deprived of many other skills.
Chanchal asked the last question, “Sir, which Universities give Open education to the working people ?” and both laughed loudly.
